And found that engineers are losing over 42 hours per year to invisible bottlenecks.
It began with a simple observation: CAD professionals — the people who design the buildings we live in, the cars we drive, the products we use — were spending a significant portion of their day not designing, but thinking about designing.
As a team of engineers and data scientists, we knew this had to be quantifiable. So we analyzed the largest publicly available dataset of recorded CAD workflows — CAD 1000 Hours — containing over 1,000 hours of screen recordings, mouse/keyboard events, and frame-level annotations across 597 workflows and 10 different CAD platforms.
The results were both alarming and actionable:
We believe every hour an engineer spends thinking about what to do next is an hour stolen from actual design work. GEAU.AI exists to give those hours back — not through automation that replaces human creativity, but through intelligent assistance that removes the cognitive friction between intention and execution.
The name GEAU stands for Gesture-Enhanced Augmented Utility — our approach to understanding and enhancing the physical gestures (mouse, keyboard, touch) that form the interface between human intention and digital creation.

Company
A small, focused team building tools that matter. We believe in shipping quality software and listening to our users.
Every feature decision is backed by real user behavior data, not assumptions.
Your designs stay yours. We analyze behavior, never content.
GEAU.AI adds zero overhead. If it slows you down, we've failed.
We build for engineers, by engineers. Every feature is tested in real workflows.
